An Adventure without Compromises
In the 2050s, Earth has been reshaped by catastrophic global events. Massive tsunamis, ecological collapse, and the failure of global infrastructure have pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. Civilization as we know it has crumbled. Those who remain face a harsh, unforgiving world—where survival demands both resilience and ingenuity.
The first installment of The Voyage Trilogy takes place on Hinnøya, Norway's largest island. Once connected to the outside world, the island is now cut off by environmental devastation and the collapse of modern communication. The city of Harstad and its surrounding rural areas serve as the game’s main setting—a hauntingly beautiful yet treacherous environment shaped by nature, memory, and conflict.
A Society in Fragmentation
Survivors on Hinnøya have formed factions, clans, and enclaves. Some are driven by solidarity and hope. Others rule through fear and dominance. A faint signal detected by salvaged communication equipment hints at other survivors beyond the island—setting the player on a journey of discovery, confrontation, and consequence.
Players begin their story in one of several small settlements and create a personalized character using MetaHuman Creator, customizing background, skills, and appearance. From the moment the game begins, every choice helps shape the unfolding narrative.
Dynamic Survival in a Harsh Environment
The Voyage: Arise emphasizes realistic survival in extreme conditions. The environment is gripped by Fimbulvinter—a relentless, mythic winter that tests the limits of human endurance. Players must stay hydrated, fed, warm, and rested to survive. Mechanics such as status effects, injuries, and environmental hazards tie directly into the gameplay loop.
The open world supports diverse playstyles: combat, stealth, diplomacy, or manipulation. Strategic planning, resource management, and social navigation are key to surviving in a world where trust is scarce—and betrayal can be deadly.
Systems that Remember and Evolve
The game features an advanced character progression system, dialogue trees with multiple outcomes, and emergent faction dynamics. Interactions with NPCs influence your reputation, alliances, and long-term consequences across episodes.
Every character belongs to a larger world with internal motivations, rivalries, and political tensions. Skilled players can exploit these through observation, persuasion, or subterfuge—unlocking unique outcomes through strategy rather than brute force.
Replayability is built into the structure: each run can feature different events, conversations, and AI responses. Powered by the proprietary MultiBrain AI system, NPCs react dynamically to player actions and carry memory-based behaviors across time.
A Living Legacy System
One of the trilogy’s most ambitious features is the Heritage System. Using blockchain-backed Digital Assets (DA), players can carry forward items, weapons, armor, and even select skills into future titles. Through your DA-username, legacy characters can pass down traits to descendants, allowing for narrative and gameplay continuity between titles.
This system enhances narrative immersion and gameplay depth while preserving your hard-earned achievements in a secure and verifiable way.
Player-Centric Design Philosophy
We believe in building games that respect player freedom. Our role is to design systems that offer choices without limiting expression. We aim to create a space where players can experiment, roleplay, and forge their path—with systems that respond meaningfully to their actions.
While boundaries around ethics and legality are respected, we trust our players to engage authentically with the world we've built. Whether you're a survivor seeking peace or a strategist manipulating factions, the tools are in your hands.
The Voyage: Arise – A New Standard in Survival RPGs
Rooted in Nordic realism and narrative depth, The Voyage: Arise is a single-player experience that pushes the boundaries of what survival RPGs can achieve. It sets the stage for a trilogy where stories endure, systems evolve, and legacies are earned.
Welcome to a world reborn—one decision at a time.
